Zombieland

Rating: 4 Stars

Hands down this is the best Zombiemovie I have ever seen. While it is not for the kids, teens and adults will enjoy this movie and can enjoy it together. A zombie movie for the family if you will. This movie is first and foremost a comedy. The acting is great(Woody Harrelson rocks), the love interest is cute and there is even a cameo by Bill Murray.

Reasons to see it:

You are still looking for a good zombie movie.
You like Woody Harrelson or are a Bill Murray completist.

Reasons to avoid it:

You are 12 years old or younger.
You are not in the mood for a comedy.

The Vanishing Point

Rating: 4 Stars

A classic 70's movie sex and drugs and rock n roll. If you were alive then this will take you back. If you weren't alive then this will give you a taste of the times. Speed and speed mix with a general mistrust of the man, gospel music and a little touch of soul in a classic B movie.

Reasons to see it:

Ultimate 70's car chase movie
You like the GnR song Breakdown

Reasons to avoid it:

You need a plot.
You are offended by flower child nudity and casual drug use.

The Messenger

Rating: 4 Stars

Great movie with stellar performances by Woody Harrelson and Ben Foster. This movie follows a couple of soldiers as they deliver the bad news of soldiers who won't be coming home. This movie does a superb job of conveying the pain of the families whose loved ones have paid the ultimate price. As sad as the story is it is delivered with unexpected but welcome humor.

Reasons to see it:

Steve Buscemi has a cameo.
Another great performance by Woody Harrelson.

Reasons to avoid it:

Can't deal with the subject matter
